I think that a lot of potential real estate investors get defeated before they ever get started because they hear a lot of lies out there. And I got to admit, I might be one of the ones telling them when I say things like, “I own $25 million of real estate or have over 150 rental units or I’ve flipped over 300 houses.” Well, I mean it, but when I think about it, it’s kind of misleading. And I think that everybody out there who’s educating others says things like this, not knowing that what actually happens is it makes you feel like all of this is out of reach and you’re never going to get there.
